Ella Vajdos, a senior at New Braunfels High in Texas, took third in the girls 6A state pole vault final with a 13-3 (4.04m) clearance at the UIL Outdoor Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin. Vajdos matched the same height as Jacqueline Rose from Keller High, but was third based on total attempts.
